How do I get Price Breakout Alerts?

Percentage-based price movement alerts can be an invaluable tool for keeping tabs on Bitcoin, or any other crypto asset. Prices in the crypto space are notoriously volatile, but this volatility is not evenly spaced out. We often see weeks, sometimes months of relatively calm waters before a sudden price breakout in either direction. That's why it's important to get timely notifications when this occurs, so you don't need to be checking prices manually all the time!

Our Percent price alerts tool is intended for precisely this. We individually collect data from over two dozen separate crypto exchanges and continuously monitor price movements in real-time. I'll now walk you through setting up a percent price alert.

First, you'll need to specify a method to receive notifications. By default, "Email" is selected, but our platform supports 9 different alerting methods including SMS, Telegram and Discord. For extremely urgent events, we also support automated Phone Calls! Next, you'll want to select the coin you wish to monitor along with the size of the price movement you deem worthy of an alert. In addition to the size of the movement, you'll need to specify a time window for this movement to occur in. For example, you may want to be alerted if BTC goes up by 10% within 1 hour. Finally, you should choose an exchange that lists this token (exchanges that do not list a given cryptocurrency will be dimmed out). We recommend a high volume exchange such as Coinbase or Binance. Once you're finished, click "Set Alert".
